Something About Being Disapointed

I'm really disappointed. After a decade of liberal rule in which democracy was replaced by old cronies insisting that MP's vote along party lines, I honestly thought things had changed. Well, Stephen Harper, this is strike 1. Why on earth would you fire an MP for voting with his conscience? Not only is this undemocratic, it is complete reversal from what your Minister of Foreign Affairs stated just last month:

We will not throw a member out of caucus for voting his conscience. There will be no firings on budget votes as we saw with the Liberal government.

If you want to win the next federal election you must differentiate yourself from the Liberal party. Pulling stunts like this will make it very difficult for voters to trust future promises.
