Something About The News

This morning on CNN International they reported hourly about Karla Holmoka being released from prison. Not exactly the news story you want to get Canada on the map. Another news story came close to making me sick to my stomach. On Monday a guy from Japan won the Nathan's Famous hot dog eating contest. Takeru Kobayashi ate 49 hot dogs (including bun) in 12 minutes, giving him the Yellow Mustard Belt for the fifth straight year. What made me sick was the technique he uses. First he breaks the hot dog in half, then he dips both halves in water before eating them. I couldn't eat 1 soggy hot dog bun let alone 49 of them. Gross.
