Something About Celebratory Fire

How do you tell the difference between violent gunfire and that of the celebratory kind? As I was watching CNN report about the death of Saddam Hussein there were bursts of gunfire heard in the back ground. The reporter told Anderson Cooper that it was celebratory gunfire. Even Cooper was a bit skeptical. With almost 3,000 US deaths and the civilian toll in the hundreds of thousands, I would think most Iraqis wouldn't know the difference between good and bad gunfire. With either one most people would be heading for cover.

Something About Angry Toys

Maybe the reason most Koreans don't celebrate Christmas is because of their freaky Christmas toys. I bought this toy at Lotteria the other day.

Something About Peter Boyle

Of all family sitcoms I think "Everybody Loves Raymond" has got to be the funniest by far. The creators of the show hit the mark from casting to writing. Even the sets were great. I was really sad to hear that Peter Boyle (Frank) died the other day at age 71. What a tragedy.

I was originally looking for a "Chipmunks'" Christmas video but found this instead. I was not disappointed.

Something About Assumed Birthdays

While I'm not certain about the exact date Venus came into this world I'm pretty sure it was around the first of December. I've appointed December 1st as her birthday. I can't believe she's already 2 years old! She's still very tiny. I haven't told her that 20 minutes away from the apartment the Korean government is killing tens of thousands of chickens, dogs and cats in an attempt to curb bird flu.
